Mmmmm, you feel that? It’s the sound of glory, via the tumbling temptresses behind Royston Vasie. With a seal of approval via Milk! Records, which just so happens to be Courtney Globe-Conquering Barnett, and who haven’t put a step wrong, with releases from East Brunswick All Girls Choir and Jen Cloher under their belts, “Go It Alone” is a gorgeous surrealist guitar fodder for those not ready to give up Built to Spill’s glory days.
Royston Vasie have released a clip for the track, which includes stop motion animation under the guise of body painting. Day of the Dead prep is unveiled in front of our eyes, and the subtly alluring and floral, “Go It Alone” is the perfect soundtrack for such a clip.
