The disco flair is strong with this one, spritzy hooks mushing into your brain with unrelenting glee. ‘Talk In Technicolour’ is a happy song disguised as a sad song, smothered in introspection that’s trying to burst forth from a super shy shell. It’s like a Passion Pit track, but not so in your face and thankfully void of falsetto. Instead there’s a more subtle Nile Rogers, late 70’s vibe. Wispy tendrils of smoky synth roll out, wave after wave, and the more you listen to it, the more you get closer to the song. Awesome stuff.
